Requirements

Candidates should possess 3+ years of experience in software development utilizing full-stack technologies, with at least 1 year of experience specifically with PHP and 1 year with MySQL or a similar database technology. Strong proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS is required, and familiarity with frameworks like AngularJS and Bootstrap 3 is considered a bonus. Applicants must have a solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and design principles, be comfortable with Linux and Git, and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical presentation abilities. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is also required.

Responsibilities

The Software Engineer will be responsible for implementing scalable PHP APIs, services, and solutions from concept to production as part of a focused product team, engaging in all aspects of the software development process including design, development, testing, debugging, and documentation. They will collaborate with Senior Engineers during software design sessions, support bug fixes and implement enhancements to applications in Production, and write clean, reusable, and high-quality code adhering to best practices. Furthermore, they will seek and participate in personal development opportunities to maintain industry knowledge and contribute to the overall growth of the SaaS platform.
