A strong command of Python, NumPy, SciPy, and OpenCV is essential, along with a solid understanding of computer vision and image processing mathematics. The role requires a bias for rapid experimentation, self-directed problem-solving, and the ability to work full-time on-site in Santa Clara.
The Software Engineer will contribute to the development and design of next-generation inspection technology, prototyping and benchmarking 2D/3D vision algorithms. Responsibilities include integrating new sensors, analyzing failure cases to implement fixes, maintaining Python code, and collaborating with AI, hardware, and application teams to bring ideas into production.
