Requirements

Candidates should have 3-10+ years of experience in backend engineering, a proven ability to architect or build 0-1 services in a large-scale production environment, hands-on experience in building distributed systems in a cloud environment using AWS, proficiency in event-driven systems leveraging Kafka or similar messaging frameworks, and familiarity with Go or C++/Java programming languages. Working knowledge of Postgres database management system and experience in any OMS or EMS is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain core services that drive Moment’s product offerings, lead the scope definition, design, implementation, and deployment of robust distributed services, actively participate in design and architecture reviews, produce comprehensive documentation, contribute to the evolution of the tech stack, and assist in building a world-class team by participating in hiring and mentoring new team members.
