Requirements

At least one (1) year or more of hands-on professional experience designing and developing mission critical distributed systems with high requirements on performance, resiliency and consistency
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Financial Engineering or a related field
Required experience in Java and Typescript/Javascript
Readiness to learn Clear Street technology stack: Golang, Python, React, AWS, Kubernetes, gRPC, Protobuf, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, Docker
Highly motivated, self-starter with a passion for technology and the ability and desire to learn new skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to deliver results with minimal supervision
Experience in troubleshooting system performance and taking corrective action as necessary
Experience in supporting and running systems in a production environment
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Good understanding of the financial markets, the different asset classes and the unique technical requirements in building financial systems (preferred)

Responsibilities

Work closely with business partners, build and design new solutions, and support the current business
Build applications for Securities Finance and Futures businesses, Execution Management, Risk, as well as Custody and Clearing systems
Work in conjunction with team members in Sweden and NY
Build both client side (usability and easy navigation) and server side elements (data storage, security, and overall performance)
Contribute to building the technological backbone of Clear Street as part of a collaborative, productive, and supportive team
