Requirements

Proficiency in Java, including deep knowledge of I/O, multithreaded concurrent programming, and modern cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP), is essential. A strong understanding of modern database and storage technologies, both SQL and NoSQL (e.g., MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, Elasticsearch), is required. Proven experience leading and managing large-scale projects in a fast-paced environment is necessary, along with exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

The Software Engineer will design and develop core services for Zoom Meeting web, focusing on user account management and email systems. Responsibilities include integrating with third-party providers for critical functions like user sign-up and notifications, and collaborating with product management and cross-functional teams to define requirements for Notification, SMTP, and SMS services. This role involves transforming high-level roadmap visions into actionable feature specifications and deliverables, establishing and upholding engineering best practices, and developing a secure and scalable platform using Java and Spring Boot. The engineer will build and maintain a reliable, stable, and secure notification system, develop a robust monitoring and alerting system, and collaborate with third-party SMTP and SMS service providers to design and deliver seamless integrations.
