Requirements
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, with a minimum of two years of professional work experience. Demonstrated expertise in Java and Object-Oriented Design techniques is required, along with experience designing, building, testing, debugging, and maintaining a large codebase. Applicants should also be able to quickly learn new programming languages, third-party software frameworks, and innovative technologies, and possess an active Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.
Responsibilities
The Software Engineer will work as part of a team to design, develop, implement, and deploy advanced algorithms and software systems, assisting other technical contributors throughout the software lifecycle. They will contribute to a diverse set of applications including software and integration for distributed mission planning, Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR) management, and novel visualizations to provide decision support to human analysts/planners. The role involves developing concurrent and asynchronous code, adopting new languages, libraries, and technologies, and integrating with larger software systems through unit and system-level testing.
