Requirements

1 to 2 years of professional experience in software development in a product development organization
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Scala, Java, or Python
Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies
Knowledge of relational databases (especially Postgres) and SQL
Familiarity with multiple languages/technologies (e.g., Spark, Langchain, Elixir) is a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and enhance our analytics platform using languages such as Scala, Java, or Python
Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Review and contribute to technical discussions to improve team processes
Learn and implement new technologies as needed to meet project requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues
Document development processes, code changes, and technical information
Contribute to the improvement of our deployment processes and toolchain
