Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field, or equivalent related professional experience
2 years of experience in software development
Proficiency with JVM-based languages (Java/Kotlin) or Python
Strength in OO programming languages and moderate familiarity with other applicable languages
Familiarity with a couple of data stores or API access patterns and integration
Familiarity with Kubernetes (k8s) and container technologies
Ability to test and monitor your own code
Understanding of testing and monitoring tools
Experience working with ML models or ML platforms is a plus
Any front-end software development experience in React/NodeJS/TypeScript is a plus

Responsibilities

Develop and test standard software applications and related programs to ensure they meet design requirements
Apply software design principles, data structures, design patterns, and computer science fundamentals to write clean, maintainable, optimized, and modular code with good naming conventions
Utilize knowledge of database design to address data requirements
Work closely with other functions like Product and Program management to deliver meaningful solutions
Coordinate stakeholder input and collaboration efforts when developing solutions to issues
Understand the importance of system and technology integration and the basic features and facilities involved in the integration process
Think broadly and understand how, why, and when policies/processes are standardized and when they differ across the organization
Execute tasks and/or provide data to support the implementation of holistic solutions that forge linkages between structure, people, process, and technology
Report clearly on current work status and ask challenging questions when empowered to do so
Develop technical proposals and communicate them to stakeholders (engineering, product, program)
