Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry experience, along with 3+ years of experience building high-performance, low-latency distributed systems running in the cloud. They should be able to write automated tests to validate code functionality, demonstrate a passion for test-driven development, and have knowledge of threading and memory management in microservices development. Furthermore, candidates are expected to have experience with resilient, scalable, and secure software development, performance optimization of MongoDB, and working in distributed, event-driven, cloud-native environments utilizing Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with Domain Driven Design (DDD), Kafka, event sourcing, and the tech stack including JVM-based technologies, Spring Boot, .NET, Kubernetes, Kafka, MongoDB, OpenAPI, and Protobuf is preferred. US work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

As a Software Development Engineer, the individual will contribute to all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), collaborating with cross-functional teams and participating in code reviews. They will focus on improving overall code quality and maintainability, addressing technical debt and bugs, and implementing SecDevOps best practices. Additionally, they will be responsible for implementing software that is resilient, scalable, and secure, and for addressing other duties as assigned within the team.
