Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and infotainment domain
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field
Must have skills: Infotainment & Telematics
Experience in infotainment domain and integration of infotainment in vehicles
Hands-on knowledge in Android-based application development, Android SDK, Core Java, NDK, Android framework, and customization
Hands-on expertise in integration of AIDL/HIDL
Understanding of Android components: Services, Broadcast receivers, content providers
Working experience in AOSP and/or AAOS
Good knowledge of Hardware Abstraction Layers (HALs) in Android
Hands-on experience writing unit test cases
Strong experience in Android Components and Jetpack library
Strong experience in SOLID principles, Java design patterns, and MVVM
Experience in Service binding, IPC communication, and thread handling
Good experience in Java/Kotlin and C++ 14/17
Good understanding of Git and CI/CD workflow
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Android porting/upgrading experience
Exposure to Google compliance testing: CTS, VTS
Good to have: Experience in Media/Phone App, Navigation, Home Screen Customization, cloud communication; BT, Wi-Fi, GPS, CAN integration

Responsibilities

Analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients
Perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work
Conduct requirements analysis, design, and architecture for HMI functionalities for In-Vehicle Infotainment
Conduct requirements analysis, design, and architecture for platform and OS functionalities
Design and develop with Android Automotive framework (e.g., audio, video, camera)
Develop modules to interact with VHAL and other HALs in the infotainment domain
Develop modules using AAOS and different Android components for infotainment
Troubleshoot and resolve issues for infotainment applications
Monitor and guide junior team members
