Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, related discipline or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in developing and designing large scale Web applications with high availability and reliability, ideally in a SaaS environment
Experience with one or more JavaScript UI toolkits, such as ReactJS, AngularJS, jQuery UI, ExtJS, EmberJS, BackboneJS (team works on ReactJS and Redux)
Experience with NodeJS and server-side JavaScript
Experience with Java
Experience with both relational and non-relational databases
Experience mentoring junior engineers
Experience being the technical lead on a small to medium-sized project
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong ability to troubleshoot software problems
Experience with a version control system (Git preferred, SVN, Perforce, or CVS experience acceptable)
Bonus: Familiarity with TypeScript
Bonus: Familiarity with using Docker for development
Bonus: Familiarity with UI testing tools (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Karma, etc.)
Bonus: Experience with WebSocket communications
Bonus: Experience with CI tools (Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild)

Responsibilities

Develop and design scalable software, leaning more towards front-end development
Build modern, scalable software using modern JavaScript frameworks

Serve as technical lead on small to medium-sized projects
Troubleshoot software problems
