Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution, and possess 3-5 years of experience in software development. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as GoLang, Java, or Ruby is required, along with experience working with AWS and its services. Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The Software Development Engineer 2 will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling large-scale applications and platform components at Mindtickle, translating business problems into technical solutions, and collaborating within product streams and teams to implement best practices. They will also be tasked with selecting appropriate architectures for systems, setting quantifiable objectives for system quality, establishing tracking and alerting systems, and ensuring the functionality and performance of the infrastructure and software.
