Requirements

  • Experience with software quality principles and automation strategies
  • Coding skills in Python and/or Java (3+ years experience)
  • Experience with test frameworks such as Pytest, JUnit, TestNG
  • Hands-on experience testing RESTful APIs and UI-driven testing with tools such as Selenium/Playwright/Cypress
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes/Containers, IaC and CI/CD processes (Jenkins/Harness/Github actions)
  • Comfortable working in Linux/Unix & Cloud platforms environments (one or more AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI/IBM), including shell scripting
  • Thriving with responsibility, technical challenges and goals
  • Building elegant, robust, and reliable solutions for complex technical problems
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to various audiences
  • Automating test processes for speed, reproducibility & stability
  • A hands-on & collaborative approach, working effectively in a globally distributed team

Responsibilities

  • Leveraging a strong partnership with Product management & developers during the development phase, to build effective test strategies/plans for deployment, and E2E test automation for CI-CD & regression
  • Debug complex issues found through testing or customer cases to identify root cause and enhance test coverage
  • Leverage your understanding of engineering best practices, including testing paradigms, debugging and CI/CD to ensure product feature reliability
  • A security first mentality, promoting quality practices & process improvements for complex software features, and test designs across multiple OS/Cloud/Container technologies
