Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in software engineering
  • At least 3 years experience as a software engineer in an industry setting
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively
  • Strong React fundamentals
  • Clear written communication, especially in design and architecture documents
  • Ability to facilitate productive discussions across the extended team (UXD, A11y)
  • Qualified applicants must not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in Canada
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with WCAG A11y standards and requirements
  • Testing experience (BDD, Integration)
  • MUI library experience
  • Agile production methods (Jira)

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the development team, Product Management, UXD and A11y to design, develop, and deliver new application components
  • Come up with ideas to technical design problems, compare options, and propose solutions
  • Develop using industry-standard tools including GitHub, React, TypeScript, Storybook and Cypress
