Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years of professional web development experience
  • Proficiency in primary programming languages (e.g., C#, JavaScript)
  • Experience with relevant backend frameworks and tools (e.g., ASP.NET Core, Node.js)
  • Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React)
  • Familiarity with database technologies (SQL/Microsoft SQL Server) and experience with Entity Framework
  • Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Azure Pipelines)
  • Preferred experience with cloud platforms (Azure)
  • Preferred familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Docker, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development
  • Preferred knowledge and experience with Windows and Microsoft Office Components including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Proficiency in the use of the English language in reading, writing, and speaking
  • Ability to successfully interact and communicate with all organizational levels and the public, including leading large-scale presentations to audiences with varying technical skills
  • Ability to learn new computer software applications quickly

  • Ability to communicate clearly via video conference, phone, and email with customers, vendors, and co-workers

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain back-end systems for web applications
  • Contribute to front-end development of web applications
  • Consult with clients and web team to understand visual concepts, formatting requirements, end-user needs, and company brand and image to develop a strategy for building website components
  • Take on complex and critical projects that require architectural design work, advanced technical and problem-solving skills, and often cross-functional collaboration
  • Gather insight/requirements from Business Analysts and end users
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruptions
  • Accurately estimate time and materials needed for assigned projects
  • Performs other duties as required
