Requirements

Candidates should possess 3+ years of hands-on SOC analyst experience in a senior or leadership role, demonstrating deep technical knowledge of security tools, threat detection, and incident response. They should also have strong leadership and mentoring abilities, experience with security frameworks and compliance requirements, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Relevant security certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

The SOC Shift Lead will lead and oversee security investigations, ensuring thorough analysis and appropriate incident escalation, review analyst investigations for quality and accuracy, provide technical guidance on complex cases, ensure proper shift handoff and documentation, serve as a primary point of contact for analytical support during declared incidents, coordinate investigative efforts with stakeholder teams, manage investigative resources during high-priority events, drive continuous improvement of operational standards, ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements, optimize shift workflows and processes, facilitate communication between shifts, provide mentorship and development opportunities for SOC analysts, deliver technical guidance and training, support new team member onboarding, provide performance feedback to leadership, and make decisive investigative decisions during incidents.
