Requirements

  • 4 years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree
  • Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing principles, practices, and procedures
  • Knowledge of reliability business practices and ECMMS software
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
  • Experience in the Medical Device industry

Responsibilities

  • Works to achieve day-to-day objectives with moderate impact on area of Reliability Engineering responsibility
  • Ensures that the equipment history, damage code, and root cause analysis are completed correctly and analyzed regularly for trends
  • Updates Reliability Engineering tools and guidelines to minimize unplanned and planned downtime and ensure a common approach, administration, and training
  • Utilizes external suppliers, experts, other factories, and corporate teams to ensure proper technical solutions are defined and implemented to eliminate root causes of issues
  • Examines technical reports, technical memoranda, and other documents to identify opportunities to improve outcomes
  • Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities
  • Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with the team
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
  • Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed
