Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree (B.S/B.A) with 2 to 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The role requires the ability to build productive working relationships, exercise judgment within defined procedures, and knowledge of various safety standards and regulations. Proficiency in reliability software, the ability to interpret electric, electronic, and mechanical drawings, and excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, along with the capacity to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences. Understanding of technical documentation, report generation, and performance assessment of fielded equipment is also necessary. Preferred qualifications include various reliability certifications.
The Reliability Engineer II will collaborate with risk management, engineering, and manufacturing teams to identify trends and implement preventative measures to minimize product and process failures. Key duties include providing guidelines to the design team for new product development and manufacturing product lifecycle, improving reliability tools and methods, and handling the design, oversight, and execution of reliability/serviceability tests such as accelerated life testing, environmental stress screening, and reliability testing. The engineer will also partner with Product Engineering and vendors to support product reliability.
