  • Minimum 10 years of experience as Site Manager in international EPC transmission projects
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office tools (CAD and Primavera knowledge valued)
  • Ability to adapt to change and availability to reside in the Netherlands
  • Capacity and experience with on-site executions using own resources (valued)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of construction and engineering of the project, managing constraints affecting scope, cost, or schedule
  • Act as the highest authority for the on-site project execution structure, reporting functionally and hierarchically to the Construction Director
  • Establish and maintain relationships between the construction team and subcontractors
  • Negotiate, propose awarding, and manage subcontractor companies as well as the project's own resources
  • Maintain information flow on construction-related aspects between the construction team and other project organizations
  • Approve subcontractors' construction procedures and conduct reviews of them
  • Direct periodic general meetings for construction preparatory activities and general construction meetings
  • Approve subcontractors' schedules participating in the works and coordinate overall project objectives among them
  • Analyze project schedule development compared to construction activity progress
  • Be responsible for execution according to the approved plan, with required quality and agreed cost
  • Be responsible for applying Acciona's health risk prevention, quality, and environmental policies on site
