Software Engineer, Simulation
AeroVectFull Time
Mid-level (3 to 4 years), Senior (5 to 8 years)
Candidates must hold a degree with a minimum of a 2.2 classification in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or an engineering-related discipline. Strong programming skills are essential, along with familiarity with mathematical modelling concepts. Experience with simulation software such as MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow is preferred.
As a Simulation and Modelling Graduate Engineer, you will develop and build simulation software using languages like Mathworks (MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow), Fortran, and C/C++. You will create system models for weapon systems, addressing challenges related to scale, complexity, and interdependencies. This includes developing both performance models for internal design and real-time training models for customer use. You will collaborate with other departments and companies to integrate subsystem models and design data, contributing to a broad understanding of the weapon system architecture and its components.
