Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field, or equivalent experience, along with direct experience in planning activities and a solid track record in assembly operations within a shift-based work environment. They should also have sound knowledge of engineered equipment with high Bill of Materials (BOM) complexity, strategic thinking skills combined with tactical execution, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

The Short Term Planner will be accountable for developing production plans to meet customer and internal demand, aligning those plans with strategic organizational goals and initiatives, and coordinating with production operations, purchasing, and suppliers to plan and monitor the progress of work. This role involves coordinating and expediting the flow of materials, analyzing critical paths to shorten execution, managing work-in-progress (WIP) to optimize inventory KPIs, analyzing NCRs and expediting their closure, leveraging existing tools and processes, acting as the “owner” of assigned lines until manufacturing completion, and coordinating with other cells to optimize operations and minimize resource conflicts.
