Requirements

High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
2–3 years of experience coordinating or supervising a shop environment
Experience as a facility or warehouse supervisor is preferred
Key competencies: Communication, Organization, Time Management, Attention to Detail, Collaboration, Customer Service, Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Adherence to all safety policies and procedures set by Proconex and customers
Legally eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship

Responsibilities

Supervise machine shop and shipping operations, providing daily direction to machinists and shipping staff
Coordinate with management and customer service to meet customer needs and expectations
Conduct employee evaluations and feedback sessions for direct reports
Collaborate with other departments on shop workflow
Uphold site safety requirements, participate in safety audits, and investigate/report incidents with management
Participate in the Proconex safety program and monthly safety meetings
Maintain schedules for building and equipment maintenance, including handling issues and coordinating contracted services with management approval
Monitor shop supply levels and order supplies as needed, coordinating with multiple departments
