Requirements

  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2–3 years of experience coordinating or supervising a shop environment
  • Experience as a facility or warehouse supervisor is preferred
  • Key competencies: Communication, Organization, Time Management, Attention to Detail, Collaboration, Customer Service, Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Adherence to all safety policies and procedures set by Proconex and customers
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Supervise machine shop and shipping operations, providing daily direction to machinists and shipping staff
  • Coordinate with management and customer service to meet customer needs and expectations
  • Conduct employee evaluations and feedback sessions for direct reports
  • Collaborate with other departments on shop workflow
  • Uphold site safety requirements, participate in safety audits, and investigate/report incidents with management
  • Participate in the Proconex safety program and monthly safety meetings
  • Maintain schedules for building and equipment maintenance, including handling issues and coordinating contracted services with management approval
  • Monitor shop supply levels and order supplies as needed, coordinating with multiple departments
