Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +8 yrs; Assoc.+4 yrs)
Ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
Work hours: 36 - 48 hours per week: 6:00 PM EST – 6:00 AM EST, 12-hour rotating night shift: 2 nights on, 2 nights off, and every other weekend (day shift availability possible based on business needs and individual qualifications)
Travel Required: 0 – 5%

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automation control systems with a focus on mathematical modeling and control theory
Make critical decisions within project area requiring advanced technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
Support manufacturing automation systems for all platforms
Perform scheduled PMs (preventive maintenance)
Provide developmental training for EMs and associates
Maintain compliant GxP requirements in all areas of the manufacturing process
Take on highly complex tasks related to the design, development, implementation, operation, and maintenance of instrument/electrical and automation control systems
Focus on mathematical modeling of diverse systems, analyzing their dynamic behavior, and using control theory to create controllers that ensure systems behave in a desired manner
Contribute to the development of cutting-edge projects by applying advanced technical knowledge and making critical decisions that significantly influence project outcomes
Stay current with advances in system design, configuration, and automation
Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training
Meet individual job requirements and contribute to the overall compliance of the organization by committing to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance
