Responsibilities

  • Move eggs from egg storage room to setters in accordance with the daily set sheet
  • Weigh sample eggs from designated flocks and record data accurately
  • Correctly load eggs into prescribed setters and locations
  • Place and store empty farm racks in designated areas
  • Perform required temperature and condition inspections of setters, hatchers, and hallways
  • Accurately maintain and submit all associated paperwork
  • Report equipment issues, product concerns, power outages, or injuries to management immediately
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Handle eggs carefully and accurately according to procedures
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records
  • Keep work areas clean, safe, and biosecure
  • Communicate equipment, product, or safety issues promptly to management
  • Support hatchery operations with flexibility, reliability, and attention to detail
