Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of aerospace experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Fanuc or similar CNC controls with familiarity with G-Code
  • Experience with multi-axis milling equipment
  • Experience using measuring equipment such as micrometers, dial calipers, height stands
  • Attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Run multiple machines at times
  • Perform tool changes, offsets, and program edits as necessary
  • Read and interpret blueprints, operation sheets, and work instructions
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Follow and complete 1st piece and in-process inspection plans
  • Perform daily machine maintenance
  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines to machine aerospace tubes, ducts, fabrications and details
