Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1 year of data entry experience
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Basic knowledge of computers and proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good oral and written communication skills and professional etiquette
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines and meet quality standards with accuracy and consistent attention to detail
  • Use of good judgment to solve problems and make business-appropriate decisions consistent with Assurant procedures and best practices
  • Ability to work in the Florence office: 1323 Celebration Blvd, Florence, SC 29501

Responsibilities

  • Perform job requirements including processing insurance claim checks, maintenance, or research
  • Perform monetary functional transactions such as posting deposits to client servicing system
  • Make appropriate updates to client database in order to meet regulatory obligations
  • Manage time to handle multiple demands and competing priorities
  • Work in multi-functional areas with multiple clients
  • Handle other duties and projects as requested on business needs
  • Maintain and update procedure knowledge on an on-going basis and attend workshops, seminars, and other training sessions as appropriate
