The expected base rate is between $25 and $30 per hour, with overtime compensation as applicable. Compensation also depends on relevant experience, education, skills, function, geographic location, and other factors.

Must have 3 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic, or 2 years with Diesel Mechanic Certification or TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certification. Key skills include diagnostic and troubleshooting competency, independent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to read technical manuals, excellent communication and teamwork, and computer experience.
Candidates with CDL A and DOT certification, prior experience administering PM programs, own personal hand tools, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision stand out. Willingness to assume increased responsibility and certifications is also valued.
