Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years residential electrical wiring, repair, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of all aspects of the Electrical System
- Bilingual (English - Spanish) Preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, run conduits, wire and terminate devices, perform quality control testing, and troubleshoot
- Working knowledge of installing electrical systems in a new and existing setting
- Detail-oriented with good time management skills
- Can lift, carry, and maneuver a minimum of 75 pounds without additional manpower or appropriate device
- Must be able to work in the outside elements of heat and cold safely and on ladders and/or roofs (medium to high heights)
- Maintain a well-groomed appearance and keep a clean uniform and work shoes
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems accurately and efficiently
- Perform repairs consistent with and exceeding National Electrical Code standards
- Increase customer loyalty by maintaining a clean working area
- Educate and offer customers appropriate upgrades that can be completed immediately or scheduled
- Accurately estimate and invoice repairs and projects
- Document work completed with before and after photos
- Demonstrate safe working practices and methods
- Effectively communicate with all internal and external customers
