Student working toward a bachelor’s degree (Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technician preferred, but will also consider Mechanical or Computer Engineer)
Willingness to learn tools such as 8D, 5 whys, Quality Alerts to resolve quality issues
Excellent drive for results with the ability to coordinate projects from start to completion
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Adherence to Global Star Safety Program, including safety rules, practices, and training as outlined in the BorgWarner PTC Safety Policy Manual
Responsibilities
Key Performance Indicators (KPI) management
Troubleshooting battery systems and equipment
Tracking service site maintenance
Tracking service tool change requests
Assisting in structured problem-solving process (8D) for customer returns
Supporting lessons learned read across activity to other plants or regions
Coordinating problem solving between engineering and service technicians
