Requirements

2-5 years of relevant experience within the Medical Device or IVD industry
Expertise in statistical analysis software (JMP/Minitab, etc.) and methods
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to get plans into actions
Prior experience in the area of biomedical or blood gas sensor design and development (desired)
Able to travel up to 10% for training, Kaizen events (may include some international travel)

Responsibilities

Develop novel sensor and membrane designs to support product development and innovation efforts
Provide analysis, testing and evaluation of complex sensor/system designs, sensor manufacturing processes and techniques, and patentable concepts
Provide accurate design of experiments, interpretation and presentation of experimental data by creating clear and concise summary reports
Execute verification and validation of sensor constructions and provide technical expertise to support manufacturing
Analyze field data with a focus on quality improvement and delivery and identify sustainable countermeasures to stabilize sensor performance
Apply insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve biosensor consumable product quality and in support of business goals and objectives
Utilize problem-solving skills and methods to drive to root cause, effective countermeasures to ensure sustainment
