Proficiency in ML model training, evaluation, and serving, as well as experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow, is essential. Familiarity with data processing and manipulation using Python libraries like Pandas and NumPy, cloud services (Azure, GCP, AWS), and version control systems like Git is necessary. Candidates should demonstrate exemplary coding practices and possess strong communication and collaboration skills.
The Senior AI Engineer will work with product, data, and engineering teams to build models and services that can ingest legal documents and extract key information for customers. They will lead the design and implementation of backend services, drive the technical vision for the team, and evolve the ML platform by building tooling for model training, evaluation, and monitoring. The role includes collaborating with data engineering to identify training data sources, developing new model training pipelines, providing technical leadership, partnering with product teams to enhance user experience, participating in interviews to hire new engineers, mentoring junior engineers, and maintaining software by addressing critical bugs.
