Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Good programming skills with PowerShell and optionally other languages such as Java, C#, or Python
  • Experience with software distribution solutions (e.g., SCCM/MECM, Intune, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of installing and configuring Microsoft operating systems, including use of GPOs, registry settings, and related management tools
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 applications such as Microsoft 365 Apps/Office
  • In-depth experience in software packaging, including MSI creation, InstallShield usage, and building configuration files
  • Experience with AppX/MSIX is desirable
  • Solid understanding of Windows File Services
  • Advanced proficiency in both German and English

Responsibilities

  • Advanced PowerShell Automation Development: Develop and maintain advanced automation workflows using PowerShell, optimizing processes such as user provisioning, permission changes, resource configuration, and other operational tasks
  • Microsoft 365 Operations Automation & Support: Automate and support Microsoft 365-related operations, including tenant administration, user lifecycle management, license assignments, and configuration across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams
  • M365, Windows, and File Services Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderately complex issues related to Microsoft 365 services, Windows operating systems, and Windows File Services, collaborating with senior engineers and sharing knowledge with junior colleagues
  • Client Communication & Cross-Team Collaboration: Communicate clearly with clients to provide status updates on incidents and projects, coach junior engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally to identify optimal solutions
  • Process Improvement & Documentation Management: Research, propose, and validate improvements to existing processes, documentation, and automation scripts; maintain and update technical documentation to support the entire team
  • Application Packaging & Deployment Support: Contribute to software packaging and deployment efforts, ensuring reliable delivery of applications across managed environments
