Hermeus

Develops hypersonic aircraft for high-speed travel

About Hermeus

Hermeus focuses on developing hypersonic aircraft capable of reaching speeds of Mach 5, which is over twice the speed of the Concorde. This means their aircraft can travel at approximately 3,800 miles per hour, significantly cutting down travel times. The aircraft operates using a hypersonic engine powered by the Pratt & Whitney F100 turbine, which has already undergone successful testing. Hermeus aims to sell these high-speed aircraft to airlines and government agencies interested in fast transportation. What sets Hermeus apart from competitors is its specific focus on hypersonic travel and its recent achievement in engine testing, which demonstrates its progress in this niche market. The company's goal is to revolutionize high-speed travel and make it a viable option for commercial use.
