Requirements

Passionate web developer who cares about their craft, excited to learn, lead projects, and produce the best work possible
Experienced web development with a strong background in front-end technologies
Experience working with JavaScript or JS frameworks (React, Vue, AngularJS, Next.js or similar)
Familiar with implementing server-side logic in Next.js (API routes, middleware, data fetching, routing) backed by database queries or external services
Familiar with building custom themes/plugins in WordPress, Shopify, or similar, integrating third-party apps and APIs
Knowledge of Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and general development best practices
Able to clearly explain technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences, with experience presenting work in a team setting
Interested in peer programming, mentoring less-experienced developers, and building a positive, collaborative environment

Responsibilities

Collaborate with marketing, product teams, and other stakeholders to bring concepts to life quickly and effectively
Take ownership and responsibility for building, shipping, testing, deploying, and maintaining web properties
Implement new features and functionality using NextJS and React where needed
Scope, plan projects, and work with other developers to implement them
Write clear documentation and present technical updates to the team
Contribute to internal developer experience (tooling, workflows, etc.)
Occasionally participate in peer programming, mentoring, and code reviews
Other duties determined by the company from time to time
