Technically minded: Apply industry practices and standards (e.g., NFPA, NEC, APTA) and provide input/advice to others; exhibit advanced wide-ranging experience using in-depth professional knowledge, acumen, concepts, and company objectives to develop/resolve complex models and procedures
Strong time management: Work productively with stakeholders to deliver projects on schedule and on budget
Excellent communication: Collaborate and teach across the organization to raise team skills/knowledge; adapt style to audiences and persuade on complex subjects
Ability to handle problems of diverse, complex scope

Responsibilities

Utilize program targets, system requirements, and control documents to develop and release comprehensive DV/PV plans, reports, and recommendations
Lead planning and execution of DV/PV plans for vehicle systems and entire vehicle; report results, document non-conformances, collaborate on root cause analysis, and provide recommendations for specifications/refinements
Design and configure test methods, scripts, and/or simulations to develop and validate system capabilities prior to vehicle integration
Work with Engineering teams to develop/deploy instrumentation, data acquisition strategies, data analysis methodologies, and best practices for testing
Review test plans, methods, analysis, and reports of peers and junior engineers for input, improvement, accuracy, and quality
Coordinate and document requirements, DV, and PV with suppliers or external testing resources to support program validation
Gather and refine complex data sets into usable information and reports
Support maintenance and calibration of test equipment and instrumentation
Lead development and deployment of engineering standards for requirements management, DV/PV plans, and traceability between requirements, test results, and reports
