Senior UX/Design Engineer

Ondo Finance is a blockchain-enabled investment platform focused on tokenizing real-world assets like US Treasuries. They are the market leader in this space and are expanding into incubating protocols for both tokenized assets and traditional crypto. The Front-End / Web team is responsible for building high-quality web applications and user experiences. This role is ideal for someone passionate about creating visually stunning and interactive user interfaces, working closely with design and engineering teams. A key responsibility is managing and updating the design system library.

Responsibilities

• Implement pixel-perfect UI components and user experiences based on design specifications and brand guidelines.
• Develop and maintain a robust design system library, ensuring consistency and scalability.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate designs into responsive and accessible web interfaces.
• Enhance UI with animations, transitions, and micro-interactions to improve usability and engagement.
• Optimize front-end code for performance and accessibility.
• Work closely with front-end engineers to bridge the gap between design and technical implementation.
• Stay up-to-date with front-end development advancements, design trends, and interaction design best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of design excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in front-end development with a strong focus on UI/UX design implementation.
• Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript (TypeScript), HTML, and CSS.
• Based in PT, MT, CT, or ET time zones.
• Experience working with and managing a design system.
• Deep understanding of modern front-end development principles (performance optimization, accessibility).
