Requirements

Candidates should possess at least six years of performance engineering experience within trading or a similar field, along with a proven coding ability in C++ or Java as their primary development language, and a strong knowledge of network programming, including raw sockets and latency optimization. They should also have a Bachelor’s or Master’s level degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and a desire to continuously learn and proactively improve processes.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Trading System Engineer, you will partner with the Trading System Engineering team on key operational performance and scalability, full-cycle application development, network programming, and platform tuning, working with Network Engineering to improve performance and platform enhancements. You will apply a data-driven approach to system improvements, solve low-latency trading problems and optimization of performance-critical code, continuously contribute to the team’s performance architecture, create new features and help improve existing systems, and work in an environment with an automated daily release cycle and a focus on top-quality and scalable software development practices such as code reviews and automated testing.
