Strong knowledge of SDLC, QA methodologies, test case management, bug tracking tools, and experience leading geographically distributed teams or vendor companies are also essential. The ability to quickly learn new technologies and tackle complex software development problems is necessary.
The Senior Test Engineer will develop and implement comprehensive test plans for AI features in Firefox, utilizing both manual and automated testing methods. They will write, run, and maintain tests, as well as build tooling and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and implement test automation for machine learning algorithms. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve technical problems, reduce tech debt, and improve code delivery velocity. The engineer will also prioritize product testing, manage risks, advocate for robust systems and practices, and represent end-users' interests.
