Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Technical Support Engineer or in a similar role, with proven hands-on experience in configuring and administering M365 services. A strong understanding of M365 security best practices, system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting within the M365 environment is required. The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is essential. Proficiency in both written and spoken German (B2/C1) and English is mandatory. Certifications related to M365 services and experience with PowerShell scripting and automation are considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The Senior Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and uptime of key M365 services, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, O365, and Exchange/Outlook Client. This includes regularly monitoring these services, providing advanced support for M365-related issues, and promptly diagnosing and resolving technical problems. The role also involves conducting essential upgrades, patches, and enhancements across the M365 environment, implementing and upholding security protocols, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations. Additionally, the engineer will manage and resolve support tickets within the ticketing system, prioritizing tasks to meet service level agreements.
