8+ years of experience in technical writing for software and hardware products
Demonstrated experience writing documentation in CCMS (DITA)
Exemplary writing and editing skills with an emphasis on writing for technical audiences
Strong desire to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving documentation requirements
Focused on top-notch quality documents delivery within stipulated timelines
Experience with migrating documentation during tool/platform transitions
Experience with structuring content for maximum reuse
Advocating for and implementing improved documentation practices, such as SEO optimization and analytics for user engagement
Strong understanding of documentation standards and practices
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

Creates and updates release notes, user guides, and API documentation
Collaborates with technical teams to prioritize documentation and ensures content aligns with branding and style guides
Manages documentation from creation to publishing, utilizing Jira, Confluence, and CCMS
Coordinates with global teams and reviews/edits colleagues' documentation
Mentors technical writers and incorporates feedback from customers, engineers, and support
Structures content for reuse, promoting best practices like SEO, analytics, and HTML
Supports release cycles with timely documentation
Identifies content gaps in sales materials and assists with feature content for client presentations
Actively engages in the software development lifecycle through participation in synchronization meetings, identifying features needing documentation, and tracking documentation progress
Adheres to stringent release deadlines for designated domains
Provides support to colleagues through reviews, constructive feedback, and editorial contributions
Investigates nascent technologies at industry and product levels, interacting with engineers and specialists, and applying features on production software and systems
