Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP). A minimum of 3 years of experience working within US federal agencies and the ServiceNow Government Community Cloud (GCC) environment is required. Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about AI integration into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving is necessary. Additionally, candidates should have ServiceNow security experience including Vault, Edge Encryption, and Data Privacy, as well as ServiceNow Domain Separation. At least 5 years of hands-on configuration/development experience with complex technologies, including integrations and portals, is essential. Demonstrated ability to influence and consult in complex customer environments, providing thought leadership to solve business and technical problems, is also required. Experience with Web Technologies such as XML, HTML, JavaScript, and Web Services is needed.
The Senior Technical Consultant will act as the functional and technical expert on customer engagement teams, configuring ServiceNow Platform products based on best practices to accelerate customer business outcomes. This role involves creating and delivering platform solutions, considering long-term technical architecture, process design, and ServiceNow technical standards. Responsibilities include supporting platform-wide process definition, re-engineering, improvement, and gap analysis through workshops with key customer stakeholders. The consultant will advise customers on leveraging ServiceNow Platform capabilities to improve their processes, lead customer design workshops across multiple ServiceNow products, and guide customers in completing technical documentation. They will also draft technically-focused user stories, define acceptance criteria, develop testing strategies, and provide knowledge transfer. The role includes guiding future system administrators, leading technical aspects of project and solution delivery, sometimes overseeing partner development, and being a lead member of project teams focused on customer outcomes. Additionally, the consultant will develop required integration components, prepare customer-facing technical deliverables, manage multiple complex projects, promote continuous improvement, support sales activities, and provide training and mentoring to delivery teams and partners. Up to 50% travel annually may be required.
