Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, tax, or related field
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Tax, including hands-on involvement in U.S. indirect tax (sales and use tax) compliance and operations
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Team-oriented approach
  • Self-starter able to multitask, prioritize workload, and manage deadlines
  • Outstanding organizational and communication skills, both oral and written in English
  • Ability to conduct independent research

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review U.S. indirect tax filings, including sales and use tax, gross receipts tax, and property tax
  • Assist with income tax compliance, extensions, and estimated tax payments
  • Support federal and international income tax provisions
  • Partner with teams across accounting, legal, engineering, operations, and finance to address tax-related initiatives
  • Manage indirect tax processes, including account accruals, reconciliations, and journal entries
  • Evaluate tax requirements for new products and system implementations
  • Anticipate and resolve tax issues, providing insightful recommendations to ensure compliance and efficiency
  • Create, refine, and document tax policies, processes, and workflows to streamline operations
  • Handle necessary registrations and filings
  • Perform research to identify additional filing requirements
  • Maintain a detailed tax compliance calendar
  • Resolve state tax notices
  • Support miscellaneous projects
