Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent
Working experience of 10+ years
Very strong system programming background with C/C++/Golang for large enterprise class software
Knowledge and skills in: Cloud Architectures, Cross Domain Knowledge, Design Thinking, Development Fundamentals, DevOps, Distributed Computing, Microservices Fluency, Full Stack Development, Security-First Mindset, Solutions Design, Testing & Automation, User Experience (UX)

Responsibilities

Designs, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs system software programs for enhancements and new products for storage systems
Develops system/platform software for enabling different components on storage arrays
Analyzes issues in customer deployments of products/solutions and recommends workarounds/fixes (typical L4 support)
Improves/stabilizes codebase releases through targeted code fixes and minor enhancements
Designs enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of systems software, including IO path, storage management, databases, and cloud-related applications
Triages and fixes customer issues as part of minor releases
Collaborates with cross-organizational teams (Hardware, Firmware, System management, Network teams, Architects, etc.) to arrive at solutions
Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities based on general objectives and overall architecture
Writes and executes complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portions of the system; identifies, debugs, and creates solutions for code and integration issues
Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and external partners regarding software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution
Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members
