Requirements

Candidates must have over 5 years of experience in implementing 3D graphics algorithms using Vulkan and OpenGL, along with 5 years of software development experience in modern C++ and Python. Familiarity with neural rendering techniques like Gaussian Splatting and NeRFs is required, as well as experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow. Strong mathematical skills and a solid understanding of 3D linear algebra and probabilistic techniques are essential. A Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Senior/Staff Software Engineer will research, implement, and optimize state-of-the-art 3D rendering of sensor data, utilizing GenAI/ML to enhance traditional 3D graphics. They will develop realism metrics in collaboration with the V&V team to demonstrate the impact of improved sensor fidelity. The role involves collaborating with Perception, Hardware, and Safety teams to enhance the realism of real-time sensor simulations and high-fidelity synthetic data, as well as improving rendering and tooling for generating realistic data at scale.
