Requirements

Responsibilities

Improve platform resilience, sitting at the intersection of platform and product engineering teams
Make it easier for engineers to build resilient systems by improving platform abstractions and tooling
Be hands-on and deeply technical with code and infrastructure to solve deep technical challenges
Partner with the Engineering Director for Platform and other ICs to provide technical leadership on resiliency
Build and enhance tools, patterns, and guardrails that make resilient choices the easy ones
Promote a culture supporting engineers in designing, building, and operating reliable global-scale systems
Provide technical advice and challenge across multiple work-streams
Lead architectural discussions for complex systems to ensure robust, optimal solutions
Champion high standards across the team
