Requirements
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent technical experience, along with at least 7 years of industry experience in large-scale recommendation systems. A Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, experience with News Feed recommendation systems, and full-stack experience with AI systems (modeling, training, and serving) are preferred.
Responsibilities
The Senior Staff Engineer will build cutting-edge AI technologies, including LLMs, generative recommenders, GNNs, multimodal learning, RL, and causal inference, to enhance the content experience for LinkedIn's members. Responsibilities include defining product strategy with partners, productionizing large-scale AI models, scaling complex AI models for over 1 billion members, deriving technical strategy, driving daily decision-making, upleveling the team's tech stack, growing team talents, and evangelizing the team's work internally and externally.
