Responsibilities
- Performs routine preventive maintenance on facilities equipment or fixtures by following schedules, inspecting, cleaning, repairing, observing wear and tear, gathering capital expense information, recommending repairs, determining replacements, and documenting activities
- Performs major and minor repairs on facilities equipment or fixtures and oversees junior-level associates by determining scopes of work, acting as job foreman, utilizing blueprints/manuals/catalogs, using hand/power tools/hoists, responding to emergencies, documenting repairs, evaluating technician skills, providing training, and ensuring quality/safety/code compliance
- Ensures financial sustainability and manages work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractors by completing documentation (e.g., expense vouchers, summaries, logs), conducting price comparisons, ordering/tracking parts, managing inventory, recording purchases/usage, compiling budget reports, submitting warranty claims, complying with OSHA/EPA regulations, developing supplier/contractor relationships, ensuring contractor compliance, reporting deficiencies, and handling equipment transport/storage
- Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities by developing stakeholder relationships, supporting plans/initiatives, communicating goals/objectives, building accountability, measuring progress, identifying improvements, demonstrating adaptability, and promoting continuous learning
- Provides supervision and development for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and fostering a culture of belonging
- Ensures compliance with company policies/procedures, supports mission/values/ethics by implementing action plans, utilizing Open Door Policy, and providing guidance on business processes
- Demonstrates and encourages respect for others, driving a positive associate environment
