Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, and have at least 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on security or developer platforms. Proficiency in Python and Go is required, along with experience designing RESTful APIs and deploying microservices in containerized environments, and familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
The Senior Software Security Engineer will design and implement full stack applications to automate secure software release workflows, drive the development and integration of in-house security tools and services, build APIs and microservices to integrate security tooling with CI/CD pipelines, streamline the security and compliance platform to support standardized release tiers, define and integrate release context into Product Life Cycle (PLC) processes, collaborate across engineering, compliance, and DevOps teams to embed security early, promote adoption of security services that increase automation and reduce developer friction, and contribute to development standards that support early security issue detection (“shift left”).
