Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or a related field, with 5-7 years of professional experience. Essential qualifications include excellent knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance, scalability, and availability. Proficiency in Python for Object-Oriented Programming, demonstrated experience with Linux and Docker containers, and knowledge of major cloud providers (Azure, GCP, or AWS) are required. Strong experience in designing and building multithreaded distributed systems, developing REST APIs, and experience with ML/Ops technologies like Azure ML & Databricks are also essential. The role requires the ability to design and develop relational databases with efficient SQL, experience with collaborative development tools (Git, Confluence, Jira), and CI/CD tools & pipelines (Github Actions, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes). Strong problem-solving, analytical, and synthesis capabilities, a proactive and resolutive attitude, team collaboration skills, deadline management, and the ability to learn quickly are crucial. Experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM/KANBAN) is also a requirement. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of LLM models, experience with Redis Cache, Azure Service Bus, fluid written and oral communication in English, and experience managing large amounts of data.
The Senior Software Engineer will analyze and develop complex software programming to resolve diverse technological problems, ensuring high-quality standards and minimal defects. They will create and maintain scalable infrastructure for AI/ML processes, responding to user requests in near real-time, and conduct requirements analysis while preparing specific proposals. Responsibilities include writing complex code for scalable, flexible, and user-friendly full-stack applications, developing secure and high-performing services and APIs, and using distributed computing to validate and process large data volumes for insights. The engineer will perform feasibility studies, support software maintenance and evolutionary development, and maintain technical documentation. They will contribute to architectural designs of large complexity and size, collaborate with developers, testers, and end-users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction, and work as a team member to foster motivation and effective team relations. Additionally, they will assist the Research team in deploying AI/ML models and Generative AI solutions into production by standardizing, improving, and developing new features on NIQ’s internal cloud-native self-service platform (CIS).
