A minimum of 7 years of experience with React, NextJS, and AWS services such as SQS, Lambdas, S3, and CloudWatch is required. Strong web testing skills, including Jest and browser testing, are essential, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with iterative project turnarounds on mission-critical systems. Experience with Agile Development and Scrum methodologies is also necessary, along with effective communication skills for cross-platform teamwork. Preferred qualifications include TypeScript, Cypress, Cloudflare Edge Workers, and further experience with Agile Development and Scrum methodologies.
The Senior Software Engineer will support the end-to-end e-commerce solution by developing React UI components for the Next.js e-commerce storefront, supporting multiple storefronts and locales, and integrating payment processing systems like Stripe and Chargebee. Responsibilities also include creating and maintaining custom integrations between vendor services such as Product Inventory Management, Storefront, CMS, and Reviews. The engineer will develop, provision, and deploy application components using Terraform, configure monitoring, alerting, and alert actions on AWS Cloudwatch, and set up CI/CD workflows for service testing, building, and deployment. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including Product, SEO, Marketing, Merchandising, and Finance to design and document new features is expected. Additionally, the role involves leveraging web testing frameworks to automate unit tests, end-to-end tests, accessibility compliance tests, and smoke test suites, and experience developing against GraphQL and RESTful Service architectures is required.
